This event is part of a project to make Universal Basic Income (UBI) a reality for the people of Sheffield, tackling injustice and advancing citizenship.

A Universal Basic Income has been proposed as a way of tackling issues including automation and zero-hours contracts. An embryonic model developed for Sheffield will be presented, critiqued and discussed with the audience.

The event is part of Sheffield's annual Festival of Debate and is being hosted by Basic Income UK, Sheffield Equality Group and the Centre for Welfare Reform.
