Disabled Children, Young People & their Families

This page tells you about the project and the different kinds of work we are doing.

This project is led by Pippa Murray, please contact her to find out more.

The main things that we are doing at the moment are:

1. Personalised Transition - helping young people and their families prepare for a positive adult life.

2. Personalised Support for Families - helping families get the support they need to live an ordinary life.

3. Transforming Special Education - transforming education to support citizenship for all.

4. Inclusive Play and Leisure - creating opportunities for disabled children and their peers to play together.

5. Reforming Further Education - making accessible, available and meaningful for all young people.

You can read more about these ideas by looking at our extensive library of resources or using the links on the right hand side of this page.

Our major report on Personalised Transition describes where these ideas developed and our Policy Paper A Fair Start offers a powerful vision for change in the future.

Please contact Pippa Murray directly if you want to find out more.
