Jenny Pitts

Jenny Pitts

Jenny Pitts works as an independent consultant and is Managing Director of Ambrey Associates, specialising in supporting organisations to implement smart ways of working that put the person at the heart of practice.

As well as working independently for many years, Jenny has a background in local government and service development, particularly in areas of housing, personalisation, social enterprise and service modernization.

With Ambrey, Jenny has supported a number of local authorities to implement self-directed support and ‘transform’ their services as well as working with providers and community organisations. Particular interests are:

  • how public services can modernise and become truly citizen focused, how we can dismantle unnecessary bureaucracy and delays
  • supporting cultural and attitudinal change within organisations
  • changing roles such as commissioning and care managers
  • modernising ‘reablement’ and creating a single person centred journey

Jenny lives in Herefordshire with her husband Jon and has 2 teenage daughters, Hannah and Esme. Hobbies include running (currently training for the Malvern half marathon) walking, knitting and learning to cook something other than lasagne!
