Individualised Funding: Implications for Family Carers

A report commissioned by Mind Australia to find out how carers experienced similar schemes to the NDIS, when they were introduced internationally.

Authors: Carmel Laragy, Frances Sanders and Lisa Brophy

This literature review examines the impact of individualised funding on family carers of people with psychosocial disability. It was conducted in the context of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) being rolled out across Australia as individualised funding is becoming the dominant funding mechanism in disability and aged services.
