Quality Checking Government

A survey by the Learning Disability Alliance England on the impact of the UK Government on people with learning disabilities.

Author: Learning Disability Alliance England

LDA England surveyed people with disabilities, families and their allies to find out what kind of impact the UK Coalition Government (2010-15) was having on people with learning disabilities and their families.

The results were very negative with the vast majority of people saying the Government had made things much worse. The Government's overall score was 2 out of 10, and in everyone of 12 different areas the Government was given a failing grade. However their results for work and income were particularly bad - with a score of just 1 out of 10.
